Snoring sensors are all the rage right now, with one such app currently topping the UK sales chart even as I type. Now a Swedish developer, GRSoft, is hoping to reach the top with its own attempt at tapping into the surprisingly lucrative market (which, coincidentally, has already hit no.1 in Sweden). Snore Inspector is a very feature-packed up, coming with the standard settings – like the ability to switch on a record when someone is snoring – as well as more advanced features like graph plotting, dB measuring, scheduled recording and more. The app can also be told to vibrate should it hear someone snore, hopefully causing said person to shift positions.

Intelligent and useful features abound with Smart Alarm Pro Remember back in the day when a clunky alarm had to be set and placed on the bedside cabinet every night? More intriguingly is the ability to view the weather for the day which shows the current weather as well as the predicted weather for the time that has been set on the alarm. The option to view a 7 day forecast is also available. Positive quotes also feature prominently in order to motivate the user to feel more prepared and ready for the day and there’s the ability to view RSS based news too. Smart Alarm Pro for iPad Keeps You Informed During Your Wake-Up If you’ve ever taken the time to see just how many different alarm clock apps there are actually available for the iPad, you might be surprised at the sheer volume. However I recently ran across one that makes a real effort to stand out from the crowd. The Smart Alarm Pro app works as a basic alarm clock in some ways but goes above and beyond what some of the other alarm clock apps can do in others. The app will first take a gauge of where you are located and in addition to the time will also give you the current weather as well as predicted high and low temps for the day (in both Celsius and Fahrenheit depending on your preference.)
